“I had to think about my first love song for the whole day and on my way home today I remembered holidays with my mom and cousin on the baltic sea where I listened to a Guns ́N`Roses tape. The particular song for me was “Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door“. Even though it’s not a love song, I had no idea at this time what Axl was singing anyway. I was unlucky in love and this piece sounded really suitable on my walkman on repeat. I was around 14 I think. The girl was my best friend at this time and later became Dennis’ girlfriend, who is known as Bender. Luckily I was over it.”  SEVENSOL (Kann Records, Leipzig )
